2025 New England Starts with a BANG!

After the beautiful Kinzu Unconditional Love was adorned with tricolors as the Senior Champion Mare for owner High Style Stables, our performance horses began their week with excellent drives and rides and rewards!

Tuesday saw the return to the ring of CRMS BLINDING LIGHTS (King-E Otto B x Mikaela’s Eternal Peace), a 7YO gelding, in the Open Pleasure Driving for a strong reserve in a good, deep class with our good friend, Austin Hazelwood of Rose Haven Farm on the lines. The beautiful bay SSDF FLIGHT RISK (DDF Raptor x MJY’s Sequence) has been turning heads since we arrived on the grounds, and in his debut performance in the 4YO Pleasure Driving/UPHA Classic, he planted his flag as the winner! Austin was again kind enough to share his talents and ringmanship, and we are so appreciative.

Winning the 3YO Park Harness in style was Schengrund Stables’ beautiful EVENING SKYLINE (BKC Valiant Star x SSLLC Perfect Timing). Teamed up with the talented Mr. Hazelwood, this elegant young mare is really coming into her own. She’s #WorldMorganFuturity nominated, making her eligible to win quite a nice return on her next owner’s investment!

On Wednesday, Blinding Lights returned to the big ring to make his debut saddle appearance in the Limit English Pleasure. With Austin in the irons, this big, elegant gelding got to see the inside of the ring through an open bridle and BOY, did he love it! His enthusiasm caught the attention of the judges, who gave him their unanimous approval.
