Kicking off the new year with new owners!

It may be cold outside, but at Sunrise Stables, sales are HOT this month!

Lots of congratulations are in order, beginning with the sale of the super young stallion ACORN RIDGE MAGNETO (Booyah x Merriehill Great Day, by Stonecroft Byzantine) to Bruce and Jeanne Chickering of New Hampshire. Tammy Levesque is the lucky new trainer and represented the Chickerings in this sale. Former owners Marcus and Irene Yoder of Bloomfield, IA are breeders of several World Champions now, and we expect this great young prospect will add to their laurels. Sunrise Stables was pleased to be able to represent the Yoders in this sale and to have a hand in his early development.

The flashy diva SHARP DRESSED PRINCESS (Sharp Dressed Gentleman x MEM Bitchin, by M E M Blue Chip), a 2015 mare, attracted lots of attention on our Facebook page and rang our phone off the hook! In the end, it was Del Mitchell of Perrysburg, Ohio (and sometimes Florida) who wrote the check and is taking home this lovely young mare. Verona was the former owner and was represented by Sunrise Stables in this sale.

The upcoming 2020 show season is going to go by FAST for Misty Glen Morgans! These smart shoppers sent their agent, harness master Jim Taylor of Memory Lane Farm, to purchase LLL TITANIUM FORCE (Burkland High Octane x Jane’s Jewel, by Millennium Force). This thrilling four year old gelding was formerly owned by Verona, who was represented by Sunrise Stables in this sale. We’re looking forward to cheering you on as you tear up the ring in the road horse division and we wish you the best of luck with this fun guy!
