Our 2024 Sunrise Sales Incentive Winners!
It’s always an exciting week at the Morgan Grand National & World Championship Horse Show, but 2024 was the first year since we initiated our innovative SUNRISE SALES INCENTIVE PROGRAM, and we are so thrilled to recognize our very first Incentive Winners! We mailed out almost $10,000 in incentive money this year!
Earning the top prize of $2,500 were TWO deserving buyers and their savvy agents/trainers!
Karen McGee and trainer/agent Cate Lynch of Lynchpin Stables in Bennington, Vermont took home the beautiful 4YO gelding, HMRM DREAM DAWNING (RWF Dralion x FCM Precious Gem), and had a banger of a 2024 season, with top ribbons at Connecticut, UPHA Chapter 14 Spring Premiere and Mass Morgan before heading to Oklahoma to claim the World Champion Classic Pleasure Saddle Junior Horse and the Classic Pleasure Saddle 4YO Grand National Championship titles.
World class trainer Amanda DuPont of Windward Morgan Farm has been a repeat buyer who’s had great success with our prospects. So it was no surprise to find her in the money with JJS COMMANDO (Commanders Flaire GCH x Limitless), a handsome 3YO gelding she selected for Hannah Paige Champion of State College, PA. After earning blues and/or tricolors at Southern States, New York, New England, Connecticut, and Gold Cup Regional, Amanda and Commando jogged out of the ring in Oklahoma City with the 3YO Western Pleasure World Championship.

Jaisen von Ballmoos, Fairview Stable LLC in Granville, NY, enjoyed two Reserve victory passes with the charismatic 2YO stallion, KM VINTAGE STAR (BKC Valiant Star x Ah La Latte), owned by Afterglow, LLC. Purchased just TWO WEEKS before shipping to Oklahoma, this was his very first show, and he earned the 2YO Park Harness World Reserve Championship, and also the Grand National Reserve Championship in his qualifier. Trainer and owner will share the $1,750 prize money with $1,500 to Afterglow, and $250 to Jaisen.
Kelly Kraegel at Cottonwood Creek Ranch in Oklahoma City brought home two extra special prospects for two different clients, and enjoyed Grand National Championship rides on both! EXTREME SENSATION (RL Jackpot x FAMS Halleberry Ovation), a super talented 3YO stallion, provided co-owners Kraegel and Scott Charlton with a $1,000 payout for their 3YO Park Saddle win. And PVEM ALIANA ROSE (RWF Dralion x RPS Top Performance) topped the 3YO Mare Hunter Pleasure class for owners Feldurro Investments LLC of Anthony, Florida, earning $900 for owners and $100 for trainer.
Our friends at Broadmoor, Mike Goebig and Dwayne Knowles, did not miss out on the dividends as their selection of SSLLC EXTREME WAZE (Mizrahi x AWS Candlelight) for the talented Allyson Wandtke of Atlanta, Georgia culminated in a win as the Park Saddle Amateur Grand National Champion, another $1,000 payout.
